Into the Storm
This picture was taken right as a rainstorm was passing above Lake Michigan. I personally really like the colors of the clouds. This whole picture looks visually appealing, with the surreal glass sphere in the middle. It looks like the sphere is floating right above the ground. Editing this was really interesting, and I am satisfied with the final result.
Lakeside
This picture was taken up north, and it is also a picture of Lake Michigan. The water in this image is almost clear, and you can see how it changes color far off into the distance. There are so many different shades of blue, which help create a friendly and calm visual appeal to the viewer. The surreal glass sphere seems like it is closer to the viewer than the dock ramps. I like how the surreal glass sphere looks in this image.
Sunset Hues
This sunset was taken on yet another side of Lake Michigan. I really like how there are shades of orange and purple in the sky. There is a small boat in the background of this photo, on the right side of the image. The brighter colors on the right and the duller colors on the left of this picture draw the viewer's attention to the surreal sphere in the middle.
Golden
The pictures I chose for this polyscape really work well with each other. All the colors look appealing to the eye, and the triangle in the center stands out. I like how this turned out.
Emerald
I really like how the background and the picture with the cityscapes in the front look relative to one another. The green and blue of the background brings out the cityscape image, making it stand out. This is visually appealing, and the eye travels to the triangle in the middle.
By the Shore
The background is composed of darker shades and the photo in the triangle is composed of lighter shades. The red polygon behind it brings the attention of the viewer into the center of the polyscape. I like how the red contrasts with the blue.
