Gloomy
I went to this river that had a path/trail type of thing and while taking a walk there I saw this along the trail and decided to take photos of it. Even though it was a cloudy day, I managed to take some interesting shots. I took the pictures of the water and the building because it felt like it added some depth and feeling into the photos. The feelings that I am trying to convey are tiredness and gloom. To be honest, this is how you feel when you have failed something. It sort of makes you sad when thinking about it, but thats okay. Troubles that I had was picking what photos to put into weebly and no major problems with taking the pictures.
Bricks
I went downtown to take these pictures. I thought that it would be interesting to see if tilting the camera would make these photos more appealing, and it did. It definitely added to the mood of the pictures. The first one seems more sad and glum than the one on the right. The one on the right seems more bold and bright. There were many cars and people, so I had to wait for a chance to make sure that none of them were in my pictures.
Tall
I was also in downtown when I took these pictures, I was roaming around to see what I could take pictures of, so I look pictures of this clock tower. I took pictures of this zoomed in and zoomed completely out. It was interesting to see how changing my location relative to the clock tower gave a more appealing perspective. I had trouble thinking if I should actually go closer to get a better vertical shot or staying in the same position from where I took my first few photos. In the end, I went in on a closer look to the clock tower. Besides taking pictures for this project, I also took some pictures of animals that ran by and plants.
Shadow
I took these pictures the same day I went to the place with the rocks on my landscape page. I had trouble taking these pictures because there was so much traffic in that specific place, so many cars and people. I had to wait for a moment to snap the pictures when the coast was clear. The feelings that I'm trying to convey are happiness and pride. These photos are of an old hotel that was turned into a restaurant. I think that many people that I know have been there and seen it.
Bold
This picture was also taken near the river where I took pictures of the rocks in my landscape project, along the river, in fact. I decided to take pictures of the railroad above the river because it looks cool to me. I think it tells some type of story, whether it be a horror or comedy. Every picture tells its own story, and people see and interpret pictures (or works of art in general) in different ways. I see this as insightful and inspirational. The trouble I had with taking these pictures was deciding if I wanted to zoom in, or keep it completely zoomed out.
